Been a while since I had something to post. And unfortunately it isn't good. Last night my favourite Uncle hit my Aunt. He has since been moved to an old folks home and last I heard they were trying to work out his medication. His mind has slipped. In that light at least the Uncle Jim I knew is dead.
Also going around today for an interview I was told they already gave the job to someone else. Lovely day. |

You are a Liam! Often overlooked, the Seelie Liam are the most compassionate of the houses. They are known for their kindness, especially to mortals, with whom they form close ties and strive to better understand. Due to forgotten events, all Liam are considered oathbroken and are looked down on by the other nobility, who see them as inferior. However, the Liam are also known for their wisdom, and because of this many nobles grudgingly seek out their counsel.
What Changeling Noble House are you? (Updated!) brought to you by Quizilla
Ryu You scored 9 in Malice and 31 in Chaos! | Japanese dragons, or "Ryu," are very different from their Western counterparts; where the Western dragon is typically reptilian, with a heart as cold as its blood, the dragons of the Orient actually tend to err more on the side of beneficence. This should not, however, be construed as a license to treat them with disrespect; Oriental dragons are extremely powerful beings who do not tolerate impudence.
Ryu, like the dragons of the West, are known to have a fondness for shiny objects and treasure. Some Ryu are willing to part with their treasures if they deem a mortal worthy of inheriting it. Other dragons may also, like gods, grant wishes and supernatural powers to those who seek them.
At the same time, one must be wary when dealing with dragons; some may be extremely temperamental, and others even harbor a hatred for mankind and its desecration of the earth. Most dragons are by no means evil, but must still be treated with extreme caution. | |
My test tracked 2 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 2% on Malice | | You scored higher than 95% on Chaos |

Well the week of my mum being away on holiday (and my mastery of the english language) has now ended. Had some friends over on tuesday and wednesday for gameage, drunken gameage in my case. Found out the hard way I'm a complete perv when I have half a bottle of vodka in me. T'was most amusing. But yeah the games involved were a BESM werewolf horror (turned into a horror-porn game) and then the next day when we were all sobered a Godzilla/Cthulu/Anime game, where we were an elite team of mecha pilots who fought Godzilla from Tokyo to the few of you this might make sense to, I based my mecha pilot off of Gregor... Oh yeah, and I gave him a tac nuke. :)
But t'was goodness, we ate, we drank, we were merry. Then sleep. Then we ate, we drank, we made merry. And split. Borrowed Metal Gear Solic: The Twin Snakes from Ranger Chris to see what all the fuss was about. Its a bit short, I have it completed already. If any of you out there are fans of the series, heres me clear data.

Now you see my big brother got it into his head he had to get married, and also broke our long ago made promise not to make any family members best man. Bastard. And so I went to Chicago in order to get a DS- I mean of course, attend the wedding. And just for kicks, decided to visit Flubbo while I were over. Cause I can.
Wedding went surprisingly well though in America the best man seems to have a few more duties than they do over here. I got a few comments on what a good job I did, in honesty though its a miracle I didn't screw up, I was so nervous at some points I was shaking, thankfully no one noticed, or those that did were too polite to say so. Chicago itself is a damned impressive city. I frackin' loved the hieghts, and for those that have seen Ferris Bueller's day off, I did indeed headpan against the window in Sear's Tower. It was sweet licious. As a side note, everything in America is cheap. Its great. For example games, take thier price over here, knock a few pounds off, then change the symbol infront to dollars. Yes. That cheap.
Portland is much the same, minus sales tax, my brother told me there was sales tax all over america or I would have bought the DS there. Git. The people over there, (the ones I met anyway) were great, have to admit I felt somewhat sad as the plane took off to go back home, felt a good deal like I could be more open with the folks there. Whether or not its because I've know Flubbo for coming on five years now, or if its because they can't really embaress me ever 'back home' I'll never know. I'll miss you guys and gals, with luck I'll see you again one day. Preferablly when I'm substantially richer.
And as a side note, I bought what may possibly be the best card game ever invented. Space Pirate Amazon Ninja Catgirls. SPANC.

Nicholas, you have an unusually strong psychic talent in the area of Precognition
This means you have an uncanny ability to look into the future and anticipate what is going to happen. By knowing something's going to occur, you can even change the outcome of events for the better.
Nicholas, our in-depth analysis also shows you have other hidden psychic strengths including retrocognition (the ability to know what has happened in the past), telepathy (the ability to sense people's true thoughts) and clairvoyance (the ability to see the unknown).

Alas. Big brother has gone back to Ireland after his week holiday here. This will have been the last time we will have been able to get along like 'the old days' as he is well.... getting married and living several thousand miles away in America-land. This has brought to me the alarming realisation that I lack that kinda raport with _anyone_ else. Watched Princess Mononoke with him last night, I imagine there is a message I am meant to take away from it.

Nicky has had a good day. Weeeeellll on the way into uni, I was resigned to coming back later since I wanted to go into a travel shop to get a quote. I arranged by text message my next warhammer 40k game (which has taken forever) and we decided on the last day of term would be best since we wouldn't miss much. Then in my computer science lecture, we got told that since he was running ahead of schedule he would skip the friday on the last day of term! Fortunately he also finished this lecture that let me go and get the quote, which was cheaper than I thought which meant that I can probably pay a side trip to some other americans I know. THEN after the subway and that on the way out there was this pretty girl giving out free cans of diet coke. I got the very last one. And it was ice cold my friends. To make things MORE super-dee-duper lets have some tests and memes!

Take the quiz at dicepool.com I always knew it in my heart *sniff*

You are 'Gregg shorthand'. Originally designed to enable people to write faster, it is also very useful for writing things which one does not want other people to read, inasmuch as almost no one knows shorthand any more.
You know how important it is to do things efficiently and on time. You also value your privacy, and (unlike some people) you do not pretend to be friends with just everyone; that would be ridiculous. When you do make friends, you take them seriously, and faithfully keep what they confide in you to yourself. Unfortunately, the work which you do (which is very important, of course) sometimes keeps you away from social activities, and you are often lonely. Your problem is that Gregg shorthand has been obsolete for a long time.

You are one of the few out there whose wings are truly ANGELIC. Selfless, powerful, and divine, you are one blessed with a certain cosmic grace. You are unequalled in peacefulness, love, and beauty. As a Being of Light your wings are massive and a soft white or silver. Countless feathers grace them and radiate the light within you for all the world to see. You are a defender, protector, and caretaker. Comforter of the weak and forgiver of the wrong, chances are you are taken advantage of once in awhile, maybe quite often. But your innocence and wisdom sees the good in everyone and so this mistreatment does not make you colder. Merciful to the extreme, you will try to help misguided souls find themselves and peace. However not all Angelics allow themselves to be gotten the better of - the Seraphim for example will be driven to fighting for the sake of Justice and protection of those less powerful. Congratulations - and don't ever change - the world needs more people like you.

Advanced You scored 100% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 81% Advanced, and 50% Expert! You have an extremely good understanding of beginner, intermediate, and advanced level commonly confused English words, getting at least 75% of each of these three levels' questions correct. This is an exceptional score. Remember, these are commonly confused English words, which means most people don't use them properly. You got an extremely respectable score.
